International Day of the Air Traffic Controller is 20 October 2026. A delayed flight does not automatically mean the rental desk will hold your car, so coordinate the arrival before departure.

Add flight details to the reservation
Enter the airline, flight number and correct arrival time. This lets some airport branches track delays, but hold periods, fees and opening hours vary by company and location.
Check the pickup rules before flying
Confirm the pickup time, desk hours, terminal location and after-hours service. Save the branch number and reservation reference, and capture the no-show and delay terms.
Update the branch when arrival changes
If timing changes, call the branch or formally amend the booking; do not rely on flight tracking alone. Ask for the guaranteed cutoff, late-service charge and key collection point.
Build a safe fallback plan
Compare a later pickup, airport hotel or morning collection before paying for another car. Never drive exhausted; check the additional-driver and insurance rules if a companion will drive.
