Global Village opens Season 31 on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 and the season runs until May 2027. A rental car can make a family visit more flexible and easier for shopping, but its value depends on planning the parking, pickup and return times before you book.

What is officially confirmed?
The official visitor page lists Sunday to Wednesday hours from 4pm to midnight, and Thursday to Saturday plus public holidays from 4pm to 1am. Tuesdays are reserved for families, couples and ladies unless a public holiday applies. Recheck the official page on your visit date because operating details can change.
Plan the drive and arrival
Allow at least 45 to 60 extra minutes around opening days and weekends. Follow official signs and live navigation, then save the parking row, entrance and a photo of the car location. Do not assume a gate or parking charge until you verify it that day, and agree on a clear family meeting point for the exit.
Choose the right rental car
For a larger family, choose a seven-seater only after checking real luggage space, and request child seats in advance. Compare the deposit, mileage allowance, fuel policy, cancellation terms, delivery charge and return time. Do not select the smallest car on price alone if shopping bags and a stroller will fill the boot. Check how Salik and parking costs are billed by the rental company.
Before-you-go checklist
Carry the required driving licences and booking confirmation, charge your phone, save the event ticket and set a safe vehicle-return time after the visit. For hotel delivery, confirm that both the delivery and collection addresses are inside the supplier’s coverage.
