Visiting AccessAbilities Expo in Dubai? Confirm vehicle adaptations, map the right drop-off or parking area, and inspect the rental before leaving.
Why this event matters now
The eighth AccessAbilities Expo runs from 19 to 21 October 2026 in Za’abeel Halls 4–6 at Dubai World Trade Centre. It brings together assistive technology for a wide range of needs, so a practical travel plan should start with the passenger’s real requirements rather than a rental category name.
Book the adaptation, not the label
Do not assume that “large car” means accessible. Get written confirmation of the ramp or lift type, seat and door height, folded-wheelchair space, and any required hand controls. At pickup, test entry, restraint points and seat belts before signing the vehicle condition report.
Map arrival, parking and a backup
DWTC publishes an accessibility map and offers several parking and drop-off options. Identify the entrance nearest Za’abeel Halls 4–6, allow extra time for event traffic, and save the rental branch number. If confirmed equipment is missing, do not accept an unsafe substitute; request the specified vehicle or an alternative transfer.
